We went to see Sigur R�s at Alexandra Palace on Thursday. I thought they were a bit loud really. Their music is quite melodic and sonically detailed. It really relies on the high frequencies but they seemed to treat the gig like a rock concert and over-did the bass and the drums. But their specially effects were good. They had a waterfall in front of the stage at one point and various showers of little bits of paper.

One other cool thing: we were stood behind Peter Serafinowicz and Sarah Alexander!

Alexandra Palace is amazing. I'd never been there before but it's absolutely massive and it's in a fantastic location on top of a hill with a lovely view of the city. Unfortunately neither of use took our cameras or phones so no photos I'm afraid

Back in Norwich this weekend and it's snowing!
